- Wooden Boxers toy (Boxeadores de madera)
This classic wooden toy includes two boxers that are facing each other as if in the ring. A small lever sits between them. This hand-painted toy highlights the artisanship of Mexico and represents the blending of tradition and popular art.
- Wooden Maromeros toy
The word maroma is used in Latin America to describe an acrobatic somersault. The word maromero, therefore loosely translates to trapeze artist. The maromeros wooden classic hand-painted toy includes a trapeze artist held onto two wooden handles by a string at the top. As the handles are squeezed together as they are held, the trapeze artist flips around the string as if completing an acrobatic somersault.
- Mini Balero
This classic hand-painted toy has Mayan and Aztec roots. The balero is a Mexican cup-and-ball game traditionally made of brightly painted wood. The player holds the handle and tosses the top upwards, trying to catch it on the end of the stick. Though simple, mastering the game takes agility and much practice.
