This fourth book of the series focuses on this ancient tradition in the states of Puebla, Tlaxcala, San Luis Potosi and Hidalgo. The book has more than 135 color photographs illustrating the written description of each event. The photographs show the buying of the objects in the tianguis (markets), the preparation of the special dishes to be placed in the ofrenda (offering), and the ritual of building the altar, along with the vigils at the cemeteries. These photographs create a vivid testimony of how strong the influence is of this pre-Hispanic tradition in the beliefs and lives of the people.
Este cuarto libro de la serie se centra en esta antigua tradición en los estados de Puebla, Tlaxcala, San Luis Potosí e Hidalgo. El libro tiene más de 135 fotografías en color que ilustran la descripción escrita de cada evento. Las fotografías muestran la compra de los objetos en los tianguis (mercados), la preparación de los platos especiales que se colocarán en la ofrenda (ofrenda) y el ritual de construcción del altar, junto con las vigilias en los cementerios.
